This week two photographic teams - one based in Norway, the other in Indonesia - are going head-to-head in the 2018 Wetpixel photographic shootout.
The first contest held in 2016 resulted in the narrowest of last-minute victories for Lembeh Team.
This year Alex Mustard is leading Team Lembeh, 'muck' diving critter-rich tropical waters. Meanwhile Adam Hanlon has pulled on his thermal underwear to champion Team Gulen, as they explore amazing temperate water kelp forests.
The 2018 week kicked off with a Nudibranch shootout, and divers throughout the world were asked to vote once for their favourite nudibranch image.
The results are now in and Team Lembeh narrowly won the first round, with Neil Rosewarn taking the first place.
Today the teams are out shooting 'Critters'. Their efforts will be put to the public vote tonight, so please check in later to click on the relevant link to vote.
